Available as 272 high strength and heat resistant, 270/1 high strength or 241 medium strength.
The strength of 272 and 270/1 is comparable, but 272 can handle temperatures up to 230°C vs. 150°C for 270/1. It is therefore the perfect choice for applications like exhaust or clutch pinion bolts. However, curing of 272 takes at least twice as long as 270/1.
An excellent recommendation for removal of screws treated with threadlocking compound:
