Item N° GWK70 GRP 1:6 Buggy "CUBIC" tire glued on yellow rims, 2 pcs.fine lug treadvery good directional stabilitylow lateral tractionmoderate propulsionfor hard packed surfaceTire diameter: 164 mm Tire width: 61 mmDue to the high torque load on the bonding of tires on largescale cars, checking the bonding from time to time and re-glueing (y0067) if necessary is unavoidable.Attention:On all 2WD cars (except Leopard 2WD) the front suspension must be equipped with the combination of uprights y0932 and steering rods FG #7028/01. Wheel squares FG #6107/02 must be used in front and rear. 4WD cars must only use the wheel squares FG #6107/02 in front and rear.
SUPER GRIP 170 x 80 mm and 170 x 60 mm with black MadMax Extreme rims for 18 mm square wheel drive, 20 beadlock screws per rim and reinforced silver beadlock rings. Fits FG, Smartech and many more models.Due to the extreme stress created by the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires, the rim has been optimized again. The tires come with a special rigid insert which transfers the applied forces without tilting; even with the heaviest cars like the Losi 5ive-T.All together, the SUPER GRIP lives up to its name and provides maximum grip, which makes it necessary to use the supplied 3 mm beadlock screws for the MadMax EXTREME rims instead of the usual 2.5 mm screws. Additionally, the seating of these screws should be checked after each use.The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video.) On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires. The Losi 5ive-T Mini should run 60 mm wide MadMax SUPERGRIP tires all around, because the 80 mm wide SUPERGRIP tires are a bit too wide for the Mini body shell. The 80 mm wide MadMax tires are reinforced on the inside of the carcass with a special cross pattern in the tread section and ribs in the outside shoulder.MadMax SUPERGRIP tires are available in the following compounds: (embossed marking on the inside shoulder!)Breite:Soft:Medium:60 mm y1464/01y1464/0280 mm y1464/03y1464/04For running an rc-car on tarmac, the following recommendations apply:The dirtier the track or the colder the weather, the stickier (softer) the rear tires should be.A note for the front tires: 2WD cars should run slightly harder tires in front than in rear.On 4WD cars the same compound front and rear is usually a good choice!Of course, like in full scale motorsport it also applies to the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires that the softer the tire the higher the wear. The medium compound tire lasts significantly longer than the soft version!MadMax SUPERGRIP spare rubber can be found here: MadMax SUPER GRIP spare part Some off-road tires knowledge can be found here!
With this robust and reliable FG chassis, which is equipped with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine, you get the ideal entry into the fascinating "royal class" of large scale RC models as well as into the competition.A roll cage was installed for more rigidity and protection of the vehicle. The model has a 510 wheelbase. The models are built on a 4 mm alloy chassis with double wishbones at front and rear axle. All borings of the alloy chassis are countersunk to prevent the screw heads from bearing out. The models are serial equipped with the 2-damper front axle which guarantees an optimal traction of both front wheels. At the front/rear axle you can adjust through track rods or adjusting screws with right-/left-handed thread the king pin angle, trailing effect and toe-in.Further equipment points are differential gear, 24 teeth steel pinion, oil-pressure shock absorbers with volume control and external adjusting ring for the initial spring preload. All rotating parts as shafts, axles and clutch bells a.s.o. are supported by ball bearings. Thanks to the numerous available option parts, you can upgrade your FG Challenge Line as required. Incl. RTR-equipment RTR = Ready to Run. The RTR version comes ready to use with the 2,4 GHz rc-system already installed.
