The GIANT GRIP tyre = gigantic grip! 96 extremely sturdy lugs, approx. 1 cm² thick and 5 mm high, enable optimum power transmission and achieve optimum grip, even on loose surfaces such as sand and earth. Due to the extreme stress caused by the GIANT GRIP tyres, the MadMax rim has been further optimised with a reinforcement ring. Scope of delivery and condition see photos.SUPER GRIP Soft tires 170 x 80 mm with black MadMax Extreme rims for 24 mm hex wheel drive, 20 beadlock screws per rim and reinforced orange beadlock rings. Fits Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini, Desert Buggy XL and all HPI Baja 5B and 5T/SC cars.Due to the extreme stress created by the MadMax SUPER GRIP tires, the rim has been optimized again.The tires come with a special rigid insert which transfers the applied forces without tilting; even with the heaviest cars like the Losi 5ive-T.All together, the SUPER GRIP lives up to its name and provides maximum grip, which makes it necessary to use the supplied 3 mm beadlock screws for the MadMax EXTREME rims instead of the usual 2.5 mm screws. Additionally, the seating of these screws should be checked after each use.The MadMax SUPERGRIP tires have been designed especially for use on tarmac. Even on fine-pored tarmac your car will still find enough grip! (As you can see in our video.)On most 1/5 and 1/6 cars the best combination is the use of 60 mm wide front and 80 mm wide rear tires. CROSS BOND tyres 170 x 60 with MadMax Extreme 20-bolt rims with 24 mm hexagon mount and reinforced orange rim rings are designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely strong and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND enable optimum power transmission and provide excellent grip, even on loose ground such as sand and earth. The lugs are raised on the outside of the tyre, providing maximum grip, especially when cornering, when the tyre edges outwards. In addition to the reinforcement ring, the tyre has also been glued and is therefore sold as used. Due to the extreme stress caused by the MadMax CROSS BOND tyres, the rim has been further optimised with a reinforcement ring. The tyres are equipped with a special rigid tyre insert that transfers the applied force without tilting, even on heavier models. We recommend checking the screw connections on the rims after use. The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners.All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones!
