Genuine Top Tuning spare/option part.Losi 5ive-B and Mini front a-arms made by Top Tuning, machined from high grade 7075-T6 aluminum, with replaceable bushings. Made in Germany. These a-arms are designed to work with the stock aluminum guide bushings (LOSB2074), which also serve to hold the C-hubs in the a-arms. TT0900 Top Tuning electric starter 2.0 for most 1/5 and 1/6 cars
The new TT0900 electric starter is pre-assembled and fits a wide range of models including the Losi 5ive-T, 5ive Mini and DBXL, most FG models, HPI-Baja / Wild Attack series etc. The TT0900 electric starter can be started with the remote control (free channel required!). The new TT0900electric starter has much more power than the previous Electric starter thanks to the brushless motor and higher voltage. The popular Zenoah G320 is no longer a problem. It also no longer uses a one-way bearing, which clearly increases reliability. Also the installation space has been noticeably reduced by the motor and a planetary gearbox.The starter components to be fitted weigh about 666 grams plus the battery.For mounting the starter, the flywheel on the engine is replaced by the version with spring-loaded pawls included in the delivery. The tools required for this, piston stopper and flywheel puller, are also included in the delivery.For the 3rd channel the transmitter should have a switch with two positions (momentary switch preferred) or a controller. An additional channel is required for a remote engine killswitch. A killswitch is included in the scope of delivery, but a real fail-safe module such as TT0990 offers higher safety. A possibly already existing failsafe module can also be used.Due to the splitting of the functions engine start and engine stop on two channels, no more compatibility problems with different remote controls are to be expected, only the availability of free channels matters.A 3S LiPo battery is required as the power source.In the shops options menu, we offer a special battery with a more compact design (5,600 mAh/30C, 110 x 49 x 34 mm) which makes installation usually easier in many cars, as well as a battery with standard dimensions (3,900 mAh/60C, 135 x 45 x 25 mm). Of course, other 3S batteries can also be used at your own discretion, but the load capacity (capacity x C-rate) should be on a similar or higher level.Please note that we cannot ship batteries to countries outside the European Union!Since the starter unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally and the brushless starter motor is very small, almost all air filters and most tuned pipe systems can be used.Notes regarding necessary modifications known to us for mounting the starter depending on the vehicle: FG 4wd onroad Rear r/h plastic body mount, depending on position, slightly modified or relocated FG 2wd onroad horizontal engine No modifications Mecatech FW01 No modifications FG 4wd Buggy sportsline Depending on the body shell, minor trimming is required. Now with the "K&N" version the engine mount has been changed to eliminate this discrepancy. However, all aluminum engine mounts available on the market share their dimensions with the previous plastic engine mount. For the installation of a G320 Zenoah in a "K&N" -DBXL two possible combinations exist in order to obtain the correct hole pattern:When using the standard (new) plastic engine mount a shortened clutch housing is required as in a 5ive-TWhen using an aluminum engine mount a stock length clutch housing is requiredSeparately, it is recommended to enlarge the cutout in the body panel in front of the K & N air filter for about 2 - 3 mm to ensure that the panel cannot chafe on the air filter.When installing the air filter you must pay attention to the length of the screws.For use on Losi and HPI we recommend M5x45 screws (like H94763); you can also cut existing screws to length, of course.When ordering with a modified clutch housing we will include these screws!In our shop you can select from Zenoah G320RC engines already modified to fit your HPI or Losi car.The installation of the Zenoah G320RC in other cars (like FG or Smartech buggies / monsters a.s.o.) is not even remotely straightforward, since the layshaft pinion (the small pinion in front of the big differential spur gear) is in the way for the larger Zenoah G320RC crankcase.Compatibility Zenoah / Losi 5ive-T:Please note that for installation in a Losi 5ive the fan cover must be swapped for a Losi or CY cover #5341 in order to fit the chassis" bolt pattern.If you want to install a Zenoah engine into the Losi 5ive, you usually have to use a fan cover from the CY engine.However, there is a workaround to maintain Zenoah fan cover.The adjustment is done via the pinion specific mounting plates for the engine. The change always affects only the rear, outer (carburetor side) plate under the fan cover. This is rotated by 180°; so that the embossed number on this plate faces the exhaust side of the engine!18T pinion: use 20T plate, rotated 180°19T pinion: use 19T plate, rotated 180°20T pinion: use 18T plate, rotated 180°On the plus side you gain the opportunity to easily mount a Zenoah engine keeping the original fan cover. On the other hand there will be the disadvantage of the necessity to combine two different sets of engine mounting plates when installing any pinion other than the stock 19T version. Therefore we do not recommend this workaround for everyday use. Nevertheless it works perfectly should ever the need arise. Attention! We recommend to run exclusively fully synthetic 2-stroke engine oil, like y0813 Motul 800 racing oil.
