The two-parts body shell is made of polycarbonate, the rear spoiler is made of impact resistant polyamide. Driver´s coverage and roll cage parts are made of aluminum. The giant low-profile knobbed tires are glued on black rims.The model is equipped with a powerful 26cm³ (series) combustion engine with ready-for-use oiled air filter. The engine runs with normal 2-stroke petrol-oil mixture (available at every patrol station). The tank filling of 0,7 litres enables you to run your model around 45 minutes. With the installed pull-stat system the engine can be started without any difficulties. The RTR version is delivered with installed and preset radio control system and rechargeable batteries. Genuine HT spare/option part. Fits Losi Desert Buggy XL stock shocks.The Desert Buggy XL stock springs use a high preload, which is even bigger than the shocks travel. This means that the stock spring action increases not that much going through the available suspension travel. To handle hard impacts high viscosity oil is used in the shocks; however, this oil is too heavy for these springs for a proper rebound. A sensible suspension tuning becomes much pretty difficult.For this reason, the tuning springs Dirt-Spring Desert Buggy XL are shorter than the stock springs, but also use heavier gauge wire in return.
