Genuine silicone shock absorber oil for the optimal shock absorber set-up. Content: 100 ml Please note: Factory filling of FG/Losi/Smartech and many other 1/5 and 1/6 scale shocks is done with genuine silicone shock absorber oil. To ensure seal tightness and consistency you should only use genuine silicone shock absorber oil for refilling as well. Most every rc-car shock absorber uses silicone oil of different viscosities. The smaller the number, the lower the viscosity of the silicone oil and the softer the damping. As a rule of thumb: Viscosity 100 = similar to water Viscosity 1.000 = similar to cooking oil Viscosity 5.000 = similar to shampoo Viscosity 10.000 = similar to honey As a reference: The red FG Marder / Off-Road Buggy series shock absorbers are factory filled with 2.000 viscosity oil, the shocks on monster cars with dual shock set-ups (total of 8 shocks) are filled with 1.000 viscosity oil, and the shocks on FG onroad cars come filled with 4.000 viscosity oil. The original filling of the Losi 5ive-T is 350cc silicone oil.FG Silicone oil with 100 ml:FG Item N° 66295/010 = Viscosity: 100 FG Item N° 66295/025 = Viscosity: 250FG Item N° 66295/035 = Viscosity: 350FG Item N° 66295/050 = Viscosity: 500FG Item N° 66295/075 = Viscosity: 750FG Item N° 66295/100 = Viscosity: 1000FG Item N° 66295/150 = Viscosity: 1500FG Item N° 66295/200 = Viscosity: 2000FG Item N° 66295/300 = Viscosity: 3000FG Item N° 66295/400 = Viscosity: 4000FG Item N° 66295/500 = Viscosity: 5000FG Item N° 66295/600 = Viscosity: 6000FG Item N° 66295/700 = Viscosity: 7000FG Item N° 66295/800 = Viscosity: 8000FG Item N° 66295/900 = Viscosity: 9000FG Item N° 66296 = Viscosity: 10000Viscosity of silicone oil at various temperatures.
Genuine TT spare/option part. The new and improved failsafe modul. This kill switch module works with most FM and 2.4 GHz rc-systems. Not compatible with AVC-equipped receivers! You must have a free channel on your rc-system in order to install the module! This means at least a 3-channel radio for standard 1-servo brake/throttle setups or a 4-channel radio for dual brake servos driven by the radio's mixer function. With this module you can stop the engine with your radio. Additionally the module features a failsafe function which stops the engine when the rx-battery's voltage drops below a certain level or the rc-system has a glitch. A kill switch module fulfils two tasks. On the one hand, as a safety device, it is intended to shut off an engine with magneto ignition in case of failure of the remote control, and on the other hand, the engine can be stopped at any time by remote control. While the latter is mainly used for convenience, the safety aspect is what really matters. The failsave circuit integrated in all modern remote controls may brake the vehicle in the event of a radio interference, but this feature is dependent on the basic functionality of the receiver system and its power supply. However, if the receiver, the gas servo or the power supply fails completely, the failsave of the remote control can no longer do its job. The vehicle may be running haywire at full throttle. In these cases, the kill switch will cut the ignition of the engine and the vehicle will roll out without power.Features:Ready to install no soldering requiredRemote LED for easy-to-spot operational status (ignition live/killed)Optically coupled to isolate the ignition from the radio systemThreshold value for undervoltage protection (4V, 5V, 6V) adjustable with jumpers allows adaptation to the rx-battery type (LiPo, LiFePo, NiMH, NiCd)Contents:1 piece
Fully assembled and factory filled with 1.000 viscosity silicone oil. Including springs which can be adjusted via a threaded collar. The excellent quality GPM shocks fit all cars of the HPI Baja 5 series, Carson Wild GP Attack and feature an extremely massive 7 mm rod. The GPM shocks cases and rod ends are completely made of aluminum and equipped with replaceable bushings at the upper and lower mounting points. The external volume control is more efficient than built-in versions with membrane or foam element. Compared with the technically similar solution of a floating balance piston inside of the shock absorber body there is the advantage that no length of the shock absorber is needed for the volume compensation. Furthermore the additional housing surface of the equalizing chamber helps in cooling the oil. Dimensions:distance between mounting holes (extended): 207 mm travel: 69 mm li> Outer diameter: 28 mm Mounting specifications: top and bottom 12 mm wide ball mount with 4 mm bore The GPM shocks are filled with 1.000 viscosity silicone oil. For a firmer setting 1.500 or higher viscosity silicone oil is recommended. If a softer setup is required, 900 or lower viscosity oil should be used.
