MAXI PIN 185 x 75 with black colored MadMax Extreme rims, 20-fold screwed, very tough, with 18 mm square drive and with reinforced orange beadlock rings for FG, Smartech and many more. The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars. MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners. All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones! Nevertheless, tires and beadlocks should be checked after every run. Genuine HT spare/option part. Extra wide tire mounted and glued on genuine 1/6 scale FG Stadium Truck rims 6232/01.Diameter 165 mm, width 90 mm. Fits all FG and Carson largescale cars, may fit other cars with 18 mm wheel squares as well.Available in three different compounds:SoftHardWe have tried various rubber / tire compounds for several months on various forms of terrain, etc.. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels, which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. The tyre is fitted to a MadMax rim with an 18mm square hub.  It is in mint condition; see photos.Due to the extreme stress placed on the rims by the KM.racing tyres, the rims have been further optimised with a reinforcement ring.  The tyres feature 128 extremely rigid lugs, each measuring more than 1 cm² and 6 mm in height, which ensure optimal power transmission and provide excellent grip even on loose surfaces such as sand and soil. The tyres are fitted with a special rigid insert that transfers the applied force without buckling, even on heavier models.
