With this robust and reliable FG chassis, which is equipped with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine, you get the ideal entry into the fascinating "royal class" of large scale RC models as well as into the competition.
A roll cage was installed for more rigidity and protection of the vehicle.
The model has a 510 wheelbase. The models are built on a 4 mm alloy chassis with double wishbones at front and rear axle. All borings of the alloy chassis are countersunk to prevent the screw heads from bearing out. The models are serial equipped with the 2-damper front axle which guarantees an optimal traction of both front wheels. At the front/rear axle you can adjust through track rods or adjusting screws with right-/left-handed thread the king pin angle, trailing effect and toe-in.
Further equipment points are differential gear, 24 teeth steel pinion, oil-pressure shock absorbers with volume control and external adjusting ring for the initial spring preload. All rotating parts as shafts, axles and clutch bells a.s.o. are supported by ball bearings.
The remote control, the two servos and the receiver battery (RTR set!) are required to operate the FG model. This RTR equipment is available in our shop selection for an additional fee.

Technical description of the Formula 1 Sportsline chassis: The chassis of the FG Formula 1 is built on a high-strength 5 mm aluminium chassis. All chassis holes (screws) are countersunk from below. The front and rear axle with versatile adjustment options such as camber, caster etc. consists of double triangular wishbones.
The double triangular wishbones of the rear axle are supported by additional track rods, with which the adjustment work can be carried out as quickly as possible. Thanks to the mounted wishbone threaded rods with right-hand and left-hand threads, all adjustment work can be carried out without dismantling any parts. The model is equipped with 4 aluminium oil pressure shock absorbers. The push-rod suspension ensures play-free transmission from the individual wheel suspension to the shock absorber. The Formula 1 chassis is supplied with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine. Power is transmitted via a four-jaw Teflon clutch to a toothed belt drive. This toothed belt drive is also designed for increased drive power. The BBS rims and tyres were modelled on the large prototypes. All rotating parts are mounted on ball bearings. Genuine FG spare/option part. The FG Touring and Sports cars at scale 1:5 are known for their high quality and very detailed bodyshells true to original. Also the technically fully developed chassis are worth mentioning. These models are now available with a high-torque brushless engine. Surface conditions with maximum grip assumed speeds above 100 km/h can be reached and steered controlled. E stands for electric power which is equivalent to extremely high torque, high speed and all this without any engine noise. The Challenge Line models are equipped with a powerful 800 - 1300 kV brushless Motor and a 150A brushless ESC. This control can be regulated simply via transmitter or optionally via the program card.The models are built on a 4mm aluminium chassis with rear wheel drive and double wishbones front and rear. All borings are countersunk. Fully adjustable front and rear double wishbone suspensions.Further equipment points are: differential gear, oil-pressure shock absorbers with volume control and external, adjusting ring for the initial tension of the spring. All rotating parts on ball bearings.Tires are glued on the rims.For all versions of the electric cars, the LiPo batteries and the matching charger, as well as the radio system and the steering servo (RTR) are required. In our shop selection, the RTR set is available for a surcharge.For hassle-free assembly, FG recommends using LiPo batteries 2x 2S or 2x 3S, with a maximum dimensions of 150 mm in length and 50 mm in width. The quick fix system of the engine makes a fast changing of the engine possible. The drive to the rear axle is carried out over several easy-running front gearwheels and an FG ball drive at the rear axle. A separate flange bearing holds the clutch bell in order to relieve the crankshaft. Front and rear axle with their various adjusting possibilities as king pin angle, castor a.s.o. consist of alloy delta wishbones below.
