The conversion kit contains all mechanical parts (no electric motor, esc and batteries) you need to convert a Carson Wild Attack or HPI Baja 5B to electric drive.Brushless motors from all common manufacturers with 56 - 58 mm diameter, about 100 - 115 mm motor can length, 700 - 850 KV and 8 mm output shaft will fit. We recommend the TT56112/700 Top Tuning Monster Brushless Motor 700 kV.For the esc,ZTW Beast 200A or other ESCs with similar dimensions and performance data are suitable.The battery box provides a total space of 180 x 84 x 50 mm for the batteries. The conversion kit includes gear and engine mount, fixing parts for cruise control and LiPo batteries.Cruise control, BL engine and LiPo batteries are not included.During the conversion several fixing holes have to be applied to the chassis. Gear transmission has to be changed accordingly to the use of the electric engine. Even though it looks funny at first sight for uninitiated people! ;-) Just like in full-size racing our tires need a certain temperature to provide the necessary grip that is needed to achieve good lap times. Usually this means that the car will get really fast times only after a few laps. The driver who uses preheated tires has a considerably advantage. With cold outside temperatures or low grip tracks, like a not so clean parking lot, it often not possible at all to bring the tire temperature up to the required range just by driving. As a result the car will be difficult to control! Measures:maximum outer diameter of 130 mm maximum tire width of 80 mmThat includes all standard 1/5 touring car tires! ( ) Instructions: The tire warmers may be operated only on 12 to 13.8 volts AC or DC. In order to reach optimum operating temperature, a power supply with a 12 - 13.8 volts AC or DC and at least 10 amps output power should be used. The T2m Powerbase y1352 is the perfect solution for this application. The operation of the tire warmers directly from a 12 volt car battery (without Powerbase) is also possible, of course.
