Item N° 68510 Electric conversion kit 1:6 2WD Marder, SetSuitable for 2WD Buggy and Monster models as Marder, Beetle, Monster-Truck, Hummer, Jeep a.s.o with 465 mm wheelbase.This conversion kit is suitable for the 2WD FG models Marder, Beetle, Off-Road Buggy and Monster models with 465mm wheelbase. Suitable for the electric engines from FG Modellsport, Leopard BL engines and Castle Creation. The conversion kit includes gear and engine mount, fixing parts for cruise control and LiPo batteries. Cruise control, BL engine and LiPo batteries are not included. During the conversion several fixing holes have to be applied to the chassis. Gear transmission has to be changed accordingly to the use of the electric engine.For easy mounting we recommend LiPo batteries with a max. length of 150mm and 50mm width.The conversion kits include all mechanical parts (except electric engine with speed control, Lipo batteries) to convert your FG model scale 1:5 and 1:6 to an electric powered system.

Fits all FG offroad / monster and stadium models (except Leopard 2010 up). Also for FG Formula 1 and Race Truck models. The GPM drive parts are made of high quality spring steel and due to its elasticity provide high impact resistance and extreme stability. Ground bearing seats ensure maximum accuracy of fit. Ball drives run significantly smoother and with less wear than normal dog bones with pins. The GPM ball drives can be partially mixed with FG parts. The heads of the GPM driveshafts fit into FG differential cups or wheel shafts.The opposite combination, i.e. FG shafts in GPM differential cups or wheel shafts does not always fit. We had tests where some FG shafts fit neatly, but due to slight tolerances others who did not fit into the very same cups/shafts. For this combination, we can not guarantee compatibility! An additional servo and a 3-channel remote control are required.If you run the maximum operating voltage approved for an ESC, there is a risk - especially in large scale cars - that under certain circumstances the reverse currents generated by the motor when braking will destroy the esc.For this reason, we recommend using a mechanical brake (as with gas powered vehicles).Please note that Reverse is no longer possible with this configuration!In the ESC settings, you must select the Forward/Brake operating mode. The brake by the controller must be deactivated or set to the lowest possible value.
