MAXI PIN 185 x 75 with black colored MadMax Extreme rims, 20-fold screwed, very tough, with 18 mm square drive and with reinforced beadlock rings for FG, Smartech and many more.
The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars.
MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners.
All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones! Nevertheless, tires and beadlocks should be checked after every run.

Hardened special screws for mounting the beadlock rings of MadMax and Losi DBXL rims.For HPI rims due to the screw head diameter only to be used in combination with non-HPI beadlock rings (i.e. MadMax or Losi 5ive-T)!The combination of larger diameter and substantially larger thread depth ensures a secure grip of the screws in the plastic of the rims; the coarse thread also allows for quick assembly.The large head with T10 hexalobular drive distributes the load as wide as possible on the ring.The screws are galvanized for rust protection.Please note: it is not recommended to use the screws in rims which had previously M3 screws installed. The V-pin competition tire is particularly suitable for tracks with loose and sandy surface. The high tread profile, extended to the tire shoulder requires a high manufacturing cost. This tread design guarantees an extremely high side traction and provides maximum propulsion especially on surfaces like sand and loose soil for optimum. A well proven combination is the use of Mammoth tires in the rear and V-pin at the front. By cutting of the tread profile of the V-pin tires you can adjust your car's handling easily. The partly or nearly complete removal of the V-pin tire's tread on the outside of the tire, greatly affects the tire's side bite when cornering.
