The spectrum DX4S is the top 4-channel system especially also for use in 1/5 and 1/6 RC cars. It has extensive software-defined and pre-programmed mixers, an adjustment of the mixing ratio on-the-fly, ABS and much more. At the core of the new DX4S is the frequency-agile 2.4GHz DSMR protocol. DSMR can be used for any type of RC cars and boats. It is characterized by an excellent range and response speed - particularly in noisy 2.4GHz environments. DSMR is backwards compatible with DSM, DSM2 and marine spectrum receivers (except SR3300T), so that long-time Spektrum users won't need to replace the receivers they have unless they want the frequency-agility of a DSMR receiver for busy 2.4GHz environments.
