EC3/EC5 BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE
Firma ESCs feature IC series battery connectors. The IC series of connectors are designed from the ground up to provide a more solid connection, higher heat resistance, and effortless installation. When used with an IC3 or IC5 connector-equipped Spektrum Smart battery, the ESC can receive and transmit battery telemetry data. EC3 and EC5 are also compatible with Firma ESCs for basic operation and ESC telemetry.

The factory-mounted combination of 980KV motor and 160A MAX6 esc provides performance that is second to none. With a 6S 22.2V (4S 14.8V is also possible) LiPo batteries, the motor reaches a final speed of about 25,000 rpm, leaving a comparable combustion engine far behind. The braking is done by the 980KV motor and is very strong. Within a few meters the model comes from top speed to a standstill. Those who have searched in vain for reverse gear with a combustion engine will find it with the electric version. The operation is very easy, if you press the brake lever once, you hit the brakes.
