Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk. Hint!As a rule, the same tires can be used for front and rear.If the vehicle tends to oversteer, this can be avoided by using a harder front tire!In wet conditions you should use a rain tire which offers maximum grip under these circumstances.With the use of Magic Rain, a tire traction compound, the grip can be further improved.Check your tires after driving! It can happen that a tire starts to detach from the rim, in this case you should glue this spot immediately with our tire repair kit (y0067), otherwise the tire could detach completely from the rim.So find out which tire is the best for you!

Hardened steel pinion set for Losi 5ive-T, 5ive-B and Mini, with corresponding engine mount inserts included. All parts with laser etched tooth count.Please note: The pinion do fit the 5ive-T 2.0 as well, of course. However, you then have to use the 5ive-T 2.0 engine mount inserts of the appropriate tooth count, inserts from the 5ive-T do not fit! Available with 16, 18T/20T/21T. The 19T pinion is stock equipment in Losi 5ive-T and Mini, 20T is stock in the 5ive-B.The 16T pinion is profile shifted and has the same dimensions as a normal 18T pinion.It is specially made for vehicles where the stock tires are replaced by much larger diameter rubber (i.e. monster truck tires and MadMax Giant Grip).Profile regraded, this means that the number of teeth is changed while the diameter remained constant. The part of the involutes? curve that defines the tooth profile is changed.
