Carburetor heat sink for all Zenoah/CY/HPI/Losi and PT-Smartech/Carson engines.Fits all Walbro 603/813/990/771/527/1107 carburetors as well as all Smartech/Carson PT engine carburetors and many more!The TopTuning carburetor heat sink counteracts the notorious vapor lock at high engine temperatures.In fact all current large scale engines have a special adaptor for the thermal insulation of the carb (isolator) to keep the carb as cool as possible, so that the fuel does not form bubbles due to heat transfer from the cylinder. And without this isolator the gasoline would literally cook after a short operating time and therefore the engine would receive a leaner mixture. The much feared lean-out until the engine stalls is inevitably.Unfortunately, even a special isolator is often insufficient at higher ambient temperatures or when the engine is subjected to higher loads, e.g. in racing. In such scenarios the better heat dissipation of the Top Tuning carburetor heat sink contributes to the solution of the problem.The easy to install heat sink, requires a considerable manufacturing and milling effort and fits easily to all common 1:5/1:6 large scale cars, such as FG, Mecatech, Smartech/Carson, HPI, Losi, etc..For installation in FG 4WD cars the rear cross member # 66212 must be modified.Attention: the Allen head screw is an imperial size and therefore not compatible with metric Allen wrenches! Genuine Speed-Tec spare/option part. For Zenoah G230/G240/G260/G270/G290AN - expansion sealing gaskets are in use in the 2-stroke motor sports for years and are based on NBR-linked cellulose fibers. They are especially used for sealing hot oils, greases and fuels! The sealing material is compressed during assembly, and as soon as it comes into contact with fuel, it swells again. Thus it is i.e. possible to make up for irregularities in the sealed surfaces (i.e. cylinder / crankcase) and seal them properly! The material of the SPEED TEC AN - expansion sealing gaskets guarantees a very good dimensional accuracy and is often the solution for leaks on your engine! Fits the standard quick mount.When mounting the motor flange the bolts/nuts must be tightened together in small steps. To mount the studs from y1421/01 or the screws from y1421/02 the use of thread locking compound (link) is required.Please note: y1423/01 does not fit in combination with Zenoah OEM clutch!
