All screws at the bottom of the chassis are countersunk.Front and rear axle mounts as well as the engine unit are connected over the complete length of the chassis, therefore we achieved almost the stiffness of a monocoque chassis. The quick fix system of the engine makes a fast changing of the engine possible. The drive to the rear axle is carried out over several easy-running front gearwheels and an FG ball drive at the rear axle. A separate flange bearing holds the clutch bell in order to relieve the crankshaft. Front and rear axle with their various adjusting possibilities as king pin angle, castor a.s.o. consist of alloy delta wishbones below. Solid alloy rear axle plates reduce the wear at the rear axle and give an enormous driving stability. 4 oil-pressure shock absorbers controlled by a pushrod suspension as well as stabilizers guarantee an optimal ground contact.We deliver the chassis selectively with FG hydraulic brakes for front or respectively rear axle. Suitable for the electric engines from FG Modellsport, Leopard BL engines and Castle Creation. The conversion kit includes gear and engine mount, fixing parts for cruise control and LiPo batteries. Cruise control, BL engine and LiPo batteries are not included. During the conversion several fixing holes have to be applied to the chassis. Gear transmission has to be changed accordingly to the use of the electric engine.For easy mounting we recommend LiPo batteries with a max. length of 150mm and 50mm width.The conversion kits include all mechanical parts (except electric engine with speed control, Lipo batteries) to convert your FG model scale 1:5 and 1:6 to an electric powered system.

Even though it looks funny at first sight for uninitiated people! ;-) Just like in full-size racing our tires need a certain temperature to provide the necessary grip that is needed to achieve good lap times. Usually this means that the car will get really fast times only after a few laps. The driver who uses preheated tires has a considerably advantage. With cold outside temperatures or low grip tracks, like a not so clean parking lot, it often not possible at all to bring the tire temperature up to the required range just by driving. As a result the car will be difficult to control! Measures:maximum outer diameter of 130 mm maximum tire width of 80 mmThat includes all standard 1/5 touring car tires! ( ) Instructions: The tire warmers may be operated only on 12 to 13.8 volts AC or DC. In order to reach optimum operating temperature, a power supply with a 12 - 13.8 volts AC or DC and at least 10 amps output power should be used. The T2m Powerbase y1352 is the perfect solution for this application. The operation of the tire warmers directly from a 12 volt car battery (without Powerbase) is also possible, of course.
