The setting accuracy of 0.5 mm (½ turn) means a maximum difference to the ideal length of 0.25 mm. This is always sufficient, the trim on the transmitter handles the final adjustment.On the other hand, a connecting rod with the same thread on both ends will always keep its setting when installed, even when both lock nuts are not tightened against the ball joints. The original springs can also be used on FG models! Silicone oil recommendation: The GPM-Spezial Cross shock absorbers are filled with silicone oil viscosity 1000. This viscosity provides very good damping properties at normal outside temperatures. If softer damping is required, oil with a viscosity of 500 or 600 is recommended; for harder damping, 1500 or higher is recommended. One 50 ml bottle of y0038 is sufficient for five long or six short dampers.
