These a-arms are designed to work with the stock aluminum guide bushings (LOSB2074), which also serve to hold the C-hubs in the a-arms. The screws in the C-Hubs can therefore be tightened as usual, without binding the assembly. The supplied shims allow the adjustment of the longitudinal play to the tolerances of C-Hubs from different manufacturers. The a-arms are identical for l/h and r/h side. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels, which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. The driving components are built on a 4mm aluminium chassis. The extremely long double wishbones at front and rear axle result in a vehicle width of 470mm. The long wheelbase of 530mm as well as the large-volume oil-pressure shock absorbers care for a balanced driving performance. The lateral splash-guard and the almost closed bodyshell prevent engine, servos a.s.o. from dirt. The model is equipped with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine with tuning pipe and ready oiled air-filter.
