Silicone oil recommendation: The GPM-Spezial shock absorbers are filled with silicone oil viscosity 1500 and 2000. This viscosity provides very good damping properties at normal outside temperatures. If softer damping is required, we recommend using oil with a viscosity of 1000 or 1500; for harder damping, use 2500 or higher. One 50 ml bottle of y0038 is sufficient for five long or six short dampers.

We recommend our progressive off-road tuning shock absorber springs from the "Dirt-Spring M" series, part number y0321, for the shock absorbers. The original springs can also be used on FG models! Silicone oil recommendation: The GPM-Spezial Cross shock absorbers are filled with silicone oil viscosity 1000. This viscosity provides very good damping properties at normal outside temperatures. If softer damping is required, oil with a viscosity of 500 or 600 is recommended; for harder damping, 1500 or higher is recommended.
