CROSS BOND 170 x 60 mm tires mit MadMax Extreme 20 bolt-beadlock rims with 18 mm wheel square and reinforced beadlock rings were designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside. Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax CROSS BOND tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars. The Super-Grip tire develops more road grip and has a better balanced driving performance on a very uneven ground according to its bigger tire diameter and the improved rubber mixture. Off-road tires for sandy underground! Gives great results on those carpets which are typical for some off-road tracks. 462 grippy square studs per tire, a total of more then 1800 for a complete set of tires, guarantee maximum traction! The lower profile of the outer stud rows reduces lateral traction and guarantee exceptional directional stability! Therefore the car is less prone to undesirable side rolls! The rim is the 6-spoke design with a steel reinforcement ring around the wheel drive. The NARROW-GRIP tires are available  with 24mm hex for Losi, HPI Baja 5 and Carson GP Wild Attack series cars and they allready glued!To prevent premature wheel drive wear the fit to the rim is very tight. Therefore the rim should be properly aligned with hex drive and completely mounted via tightening the wheel nut! Fits all FG and Carson largescale cars, may fit other cars with 18 mm wheel squares as well.Available in three different compounds:SoftHardWe have tried various rubber / tire compounds for several months on various forms of terrain, etc.. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels, which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result.
