The screw will be fully inserted into the clutch bell from the backside using high strength thread locking compound. This setup provides a couple of significant advantages:This self locking nut does not use the usual plastic insert; therefore it is completely temperature resistant!Theres no need to wait for the thread locking compound to cure after a pinion change; the connection is safe and ready to use immediately. For safety reasons nut and spring lock washers should only be used once.No need to worry about worn-out Allen screw heads.In case the screw ever breaks at the point where it enters the pinion, it can still be removed with ordinary tools. y1309 All steel linkage for steering servo/servo saver application

Genuine HT spare/option part.Very strong linkage with M6 steel ball joints.M6 threaded rod with lock nuts, balls with holes for M4 screws.Maximum length about 96 mm, but through cutting the M6 rod allows for a minimum length of 48 mm.Significantly stronger than the standard plastic version, and especially recommend when using the Hitec HS-900SGS/HS-1000SGT/HS-1005SGT/HS-1100WP servo, this linkage can be used with "normal" servos as well.The threaded rod is not designed as a turnbuckle for a reason because there is not need to change the adjusted length for this application after installation. The setting accuracy of 0.5 mm (½ turn) means a maximum difference to the ideal length of 0.25 mm. This is always sufficient, the trim on the transmitter handles the final adjustment.On the other hand, a connecting rod with the same thread on both ends will always keep its setting when installed, even when both lock nuts are not tightened against the ball joints.
