MAXI PIN 185 x 75 with black colored MadMax Extreme rims, 20-fold screwed, very tough, with 18 mm square drive and with reinforced beadlock rings for FG, Smartech and many more.
The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars.
MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners.
All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. So they come with 3.0 mm screws instead of the usual 2.5 mm ones! Nevertheless, tires and beadlocks should be checked after every run.

Since the Maxi-Pin tire has many fine pins for a high number of biting edges and a low tread depth for reduced flex work, depending on the track?s surfaceincreased tire wear may be expected. The V-pin competition tire is particularly suitable for tracks with loose and sandy surface. The high tread profile, extended to the tire shoulder requires a high manufacturing cost. This tread design guarantees an extremely high side traction and provides maximum propulsion especially on surfaces like sand and loose soil for optimum. A well proven combination is the use of Mammoth tires in the rear and V-pin at the front. By cutting of the tread profile of the V-pin tires you can adjust your car's handling easily. The partly or nearly complete removal of the V-pin tire's tread on the outside of the tire, greatly affects the tire's side bite when cornering. 2 pairs CROSS BOND 170 x 60 mm tires with black MadMax Extreme 20 bolt-beadlock rims with 24 mm hex drive and reinforced orange beadlock rings were designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside. Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax CROSS BOND tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars.
