2 pairs CROSS BOND 170 x 60 mm tires mit MadMax Extreme 20 bolt-beadlock rims with 18 mm wheel square and reinforced orange beadlock rings were designed for use on loose surfaces. The extremely rigid and differently structured lugs of the CROSS BOND ensure optimum power transmission and also allow for excellent grip on loose surfaces, such as sand and soil. The lugs are raised at the treads outside, and therefore provide maximum grip, particularly when cornering where the tire is canted to the outside.
Due to the extreme load created by the MadMax CROSS BOND tires the rim was optimized again with a reinforcement ring.
The tires are fitted with a special rigid insert, which can handle the cornering forces and maintain the tires shape even on heavy cars.
We recommend to check the beadlock screws after the run.

The MadMax MAXI PIN tires come with strong special tire inserts which allow transferring the power without canting, even on heavy cars. MadMax MAXI PIN tire was developed specifically for astro turf tracks! The special tread design with 480 studs per tire provides excellent grip, but also a high load on tire and rim! To stabilize the tire, the outer shoulder features radial ribs which minimizes the tilting under load and counteract the shear forces during cornering. Furthermore, the MAXI PIN tire has studs positioned on the outside shoulder, which support the steering in corners. All together the MAXI PIN tires provide maximum grip, which made it necessary to upgrade the beadlock screws on these MadMax EXTREME wheels. Genuine HT spare/option part. Extra wide tire mounted and glued on genuine 1/6 scale FG Stadium Truck rims 6232/01.Diameter 165 mm, width 90 mm. Fits all FG and Carson largescale cars, may fit other cars with 18 mm wheel squares as well.Available in three different compounds:SoftHardWe have tried various rubber / tire compounds for several months on various forms of terrain, etc.. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels, which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result.
