All screws at the bottom of the chassis are countersunk.Front and rear axle mounts as well as the engine unit are connected over the complete length of the chassis, therefore we achieved almost the stiffness of a monocoque chassis. The quick fix system of the engine makes a fast changing of the engine possible. The drive to the rear axle is carried out over several easy-running front gearwheels and an FG ball drive at the rear axle. A separate flange bearing holds the clutch bell in order to relieve the crankshaft. Front and rear axle with their various adjusting possibilities as king pin angle, castor a.s.o. consist of alloy delta wishbones below. Solid alloy rear axle plates reduce the wear at the rear axle and give an enormous driving stability. 4 oil-pressure shock absorbers controlled by a pushrod suspension as well as stabilizers guarantee an optimal ground contact.We deliver the chassis selectively with FG hydraulic brakes for front or respectively rear axle. The double triangular wishbones of the rear axle are supported by additional track rods, with which the adjustment work can be carried out as quickly as possible. Thanks to the mounted wishbone threaded rods with right-hand and left-hand threads, all adjustment work can be carried out without dismantling any parts. The model is equipped with 4 aluminium oil pressure shock absorbers. The push-rod suspension ensures play-free transmission from the individual wheel suspension to the shock absorber. The Formula 1 chassis is supplied with a powerful 26 cm³ combustion engine. Power is transmitted via a four-jaw Teflon clutch to a toothed belt drive. The FG Sportsline Formula 1 electric convinces not only by its appearance, but rather by its technical achievements. The unique details such as push rods, horizontal oil pressure shock absorbers, double wishbone and much more can be found in almost no other model.The chassis is built on a high-strength 5mm aluminum chassis plate and thus offers extreme stability. Countersunk holes in the chassis plate allow the screws to be flush, ensuring a flat surface under the model. Versatile adjustment options on the front and rear axles allow the model to be perfectly adapted to your own needs. Adjustments such as camber, caster, etc. are no problem whatsoever, even for beginners, and are made via the double a-arms, which provide maximum stability at the rear axle by means of additional track rods. Also the adjustable aluminum oil filled shock absorbers convince on full length and offer maximum performance even on a very difficult underground. The above mentioned push-rod suspension enables play-free power transfer from the suspension to the shock absorbers, which is essential for precise driving.The factory-mounted combination of 980KV motor and 160A MAX6 esc provides performance that is second to none. With a 6S 22.2V (4S 14.8V is also possible) LiPo batteries, the motor reaches a final speed of about 25,000 rpm, leaving a comparable combustion engine far behind. The braking is done by the 980KV motor and is very strong. Within a few meters the model comes from top speed to a standstill. Those who have searched in vain for reverse gear with a combustion engine will find it with the electric version. The operation is very easy, if you press the brake lever once, you hit the brakes. If you press the brake lever twice, you shift into reverse. With the help of a programming card (available separately) you can adjust all ESC values according to your needs. This includes setting options for power, brake force, low-voltage protection and much more. The models are built on a 4mm alloy chassis with double wishbones at front and rear axle. All borings of the alloy chassis are countersunk to prevent the screw heads from bearing out. The models are serial equipped with the 2-damper front axle which guarantees an optimal traction of both front wheels. At the front/rear axle you can adjust through track rods or adjusting screws with right-/left-handed thread the king pin angle, trailing effect and toe-in.
