Genuine HT spare/option part. Extra wide tire mounted and glued on genuine 1/6 scale FG Stadium Truck rims 6232/01.Diameter 165 mm, width 90 mm. Fits all FG and Carson largescale cars, may fit other cars with 18 mm wheel squares as well.Available in three different compounds:SoftHardWe have tried various rubber / tire compounds for several months on various forms of terrain, etc.. The Mammoth brings, due to its quite strong and large pins and the extreme width of the tire, especially on hard and low grip surfaces a high traction! The Mammoth is available in soft, medium and hard! The rule is: the harder the ground the softer the tire compound. Where other tires spin helplessly the Mammoth provides serious traction. The disadvantage of Mammoth tires: Because of their extreme width they need to be mounted on FG wheels, which is a labor intensive job. From experience, we must strongly recommend against using rims from another manufacturer in combination with extension rings. Due to the before mentioned traction no other rim has been up to the task! Broken rims and torn squares were the result. Installation in a Carson/Smartech 1/6 off-road car requires drilling of two new 4.5 mm diameter holes into the chassis plate. Genuine HT spare/option part.Wheel squares made of high-strength aluminum, hardened, with two M6 mounting threads Suitable for most 1/6 and 1/5 rc-cars. Through the use of two 6 mm screws a significantly higher retention force is achieved. Yet it is still recommended to use medium strength thread lock (link y0114)! The hard anodizing (HART-COAT) guarantees much lower wear of the squares! Especially recommended when using wheel mounted brake discs! Four 3x16 dowel pins per square are included which prevent the squares from spinning in the rim. Press fitting them into the wheel squares is optional. The 12, 14 and 17 mm wide squares feature a groove for inserting a C-clip (link 6106/05), which acts as a guide for the brake disk. The narrow 9.5 mm wide squares dont need a clip; the close sitting rim will guide the disk.
