The 2WD-465 Sportsline electric model is based on a short chassis (465 mm wheelbase) with double wishbones Rear and front axles built. The vehicle is factory equipped with the 2-damper front axle.E stands for electric power which is equivalent to extremely high torque, high speed and all this without any engine noise. This reed valve system converts a normal piston-port engine into a reed valve engine. It offers the advantage of increased intake duration for a better charge for more power. As a positive side effect no fresh gas loss occurs during the downward movement of the piston because the membranes close this path.The reed valve block replaces the usual stock insulator. To use the advantage of the reed system, it is necessary to modify the piston skirt on the intake side. Depending on the engine it is advantageous for best results, to slightly match the cylinders intake port to the Epoxy insulator plate at the bottom of the reed valve system. Both steps are described in the installation instructions for Zenoah and Chung Yang engines. Our thanks for these instructions go to our customer Thomas Hoenicke.Note: For the time being the epoxy insulator plate must be slightly reworked to fit a G320 Zenoah engine. The manual has been written with the conversion of a G320, the affected area for modification is therefore shown.The unit is 24.5 mm high.
