The increased diameter in combination with the separate volume compensation via a floating piston of the new MecaTech Big Bore shocks allows for a very constant driving. This results in improved traction and optimized handling.The Big Bore shocks fit most 1/5 scale onroad cars.The outstanding craftsmanship guarantees a perfect seal; the shocks come w/o springs. The complete assembly of your FW01 by our workshop is possible for an additional charge. Please note that the costs of the full assembly with servos a.s.o. do not include the price of any rc-components. If you do not have a suitable radio system with servos and batteries as well as switch and charger, you have to take an additional EUR 800 to EUR 1,500 for this equipment into account. We will be happy to make you an appropriate offer. We are currently waiting for the latest version of the Mecatech FW01. Set consists of 4 dampers. Premium version, suitable for FG, Carson / Smartech etc. Fully assembled and filled.  Special features: 16 mm inner diameter for higher oil volume Volume equalisation Housing and screw connections made entirely of aluminium Hard anodised housing Precision piston made of Delrin, machined (no moulded part!) Aluminium piston rod base and aluminium spring plate Replaceable bearing bushes in the mounting eyes Pre-filled with 1000 silicone oil. For the following models: FG 4WD: Monster Truck, Monster Jeep, Monster Hummer, Stadium Truck, Stadium Jeep, Stadium Hummer, Off-Road Beetle  Set contents: Four long dampers with 5 mm mount in the upper damper caps. Damper feet one pair short, one pair long (4WD MT version).  We recommend our progressive off-road tuning shock absorber springs from the "Dirt-Spring M" series, part number y0321, for the shock absorbers.  The original springs can also be used on FG models!  Silicone oil recommendation:  The GPM-Spezial Cross shock absorbers are filled with silicone oil viscosity 1000. This viscosity provides very good damping properties at normal outside temperatures.  If softer damping is required, oil with a viscosity of 500 or 600 is recommended; for harder damping, 1500 or higher is recommended.  One 50 ml bottle of y0038 is sufficient for five long or six short dampers.
