The FID electric starter comes pre-assembled and suitable for all HPI Baja and Losi 5ive-T also 5ive Mini cars. With the FID starter unit you can start and stop the engine using your remote control system (a free channel is required!). We created detailed installation instructions which you can download here. We also translated a video tutorial which was made by FID.The transmitter must have a 3-position switch (preferred) or a linear control for the 3rd channel (start - run - stop)! We know that the following transmitters provide this option:Spektrum DX4C / DX4S / DX4R pro / DX3R pro / DX3CSanwa M12 / M11X / M11Futaba 4PLS, 4PK, T7PXThere may be other transmitters which meet these requirements. If in doubt, the appropriate transmitter's instruction manual should be consulted.If a transmitter provides only a two-position switch for the aux channel, you can still use the remote starter; however you have to go without the remote killswitch feature.From our current range of tuned pipes the Samba and Mielke fit the Losi; all pipes will fit the HPI. The genuine Losi pipe can be installed with some bending to the pipe's bracket!The installation with other tuned pipes may be possible, but it's necessary to check at your own discretion.Attention:Does not fit HPI Baja in combination with stock exhaust can and Losi 5ive-T AVC, 5ive Mini WRC, MTXL with stock air filter.
