Setup Evo 2020

Front suspension:

Drill the damper piston to 1.6mm and fill the shock absorber with 8000 viscosity silicone oil. The shock absorber should be installed completely horizontally and equipped with a yellow spring. In case of a high grip track the silver spring is recommended.

For the caster two small clips (FG 7100) are installed in the rear portion of the hinge pin.
Axle shaft height should be 50 mm, measured from the top of the shaft to the ground. The easiest way to measure it with a caliper.

Chassis height approx. 7 mm. Adjust the toe-out to 1 degree and the camber to 0 degrees.

Adjust stabilizer bar to very hard, i.e. push the inner mounts entirely inward.
Servo Saver / steering arm - tie rod into the very outside hole / top side.
Servo Saver / tie rod - tie rod in the hole at the bottom / inside.

Adjust the servo saver to very hard, so push the inner mount completely inward.


Rear suspension:

Drill the damper piston to 1.6 mm and fill the shock absorber with 6000 viscosity silicone oil. The shock absorber should be installed completely horizontally and equipped with a blue spring.
Measurement from top of the wheel shaft to the ground should be approx. 44 mm. Adjust the toe-in to 2.5 degrees and the camber to 1.5 degrees, measured normal; so briefly push the car down and let it rebound.

Chassis height 9 mm.
Adjust the distance between the stabilizer bar bolts to 25 mm.

Install the wishbone at the top hole of the upright. At the differential side the wishbone is also installed in the upper hole.

Set the clutch to 9,800 RPM. Best done just after starting the engine, because engagement speed will drop to about 9,000 RPM once the engine is warmed up. So either go for 9,800 RPM with a cold engine or 9,000 RPM with a warm one.
